Radii were brought into this London fit-out project to create a suite of glazed partition solutions for the prestigious new 193,000 sq. ft UK headquarters of global law firm DLA Piper.


Led by architects tp bennett, the design for the refurbished eight storey building included four floors of professional working spaces. These would comprise a mix of meeting and project rooms, open plan office space and collaboration areas for staff. Two additional upper floors would house client meeting and dining facilities.



After developing a detailed understanding of requirements Radii utilised a number of different partitioning system configurations and profiles to meet the brief.

A combination of partitions from our Linear (25 and 59) and Parallel (50 and 100) systems were used for all room fronts, providing single (38dB RW) and double (45-50dB RW) glazing options selected based on the acoustic requirements of each space in turn. All partitioning was installed with deflection heads recessed in the ceiling to improve the final aesthetics.


For doors both timber and glass options were needed; Radii therefore supplied high gloss lacquered timber doors and pilasters (35 dB RW), Hogan glass pivoting doors, and Glide glass sliding doors (both 38dB RW).


Finally, DLA Piper’s executive meeting rooms were fitted with bespoke glass partition sections. Each comprised four panels of individual glass, bonded together so that, once installed, they achieved the effect of central band of reeded glass across the entire span of the room.

This fit-out turned DLA Piper’s headquarters into a high-functioning, high specification working space, carried out with strong emphasis on sustainable solutions across all aspects of work. The scheme was awarded the BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ for environmental performance following completion.
